Her body rhythms flow to the fluid syncopation of Brazil, Africa and the driving tempo of hip hop as she teases the full melodious range from her many instruments. I just wanted to take a moment to tell you how much Spirit Wind is a part of our night time zoo experience. My husband and I go to the zoo 3-5 nights a week and one of the sweetest parts of our evenings is hearing your music as we walk through the zoo's lushness. At times the music is so haunting, at others bright and effervescent, but it is always beautiful. Many nights we don't stop in front of you, but we give ourselves up completely to the music in the shadows of bamboo or at the edge of a waterfall. I think of it as a private call and response that we share with you.
